“Anchored” abstract batik painting may depict the theme of sailing or tranquillity. In this work, batik motifs may be combined with abstract shapes that reflect the feeling of being anchored, both physically and emotionally. The colors used could create a calm atmosphere, such as blue and green, or perhaps warmer colors to give a sense of peace and warmth.
